The Qatar Olympic Committee is pleased to have the Qatar Winter Sports Committee website launched.
Covering winter sports with a special focus on Skiing & ice skating, it will be a valuable step forward towards achieving the Qatar Olympic Committee vision to become a leading nation in bringing the world together through sustainable sport development.
It will also be considered as a remarkable milestone in achieving Qatar’s vision 2030.

The launch of Qatar Winter Sports Committee Website marks the dawn of a new era for the development of Sports in Qatar and the region.
The website has been designed to provide a comprehensive range of information on Qatar Winter Sports activities, players and all relevant information about Skiing & Skating in particular.

The Qatar Skating federation was started in 2013/2014 season with the first local workshops for skaters. In 2015 the QSF started its local short Track program monitored by coach Ingmar.
As an International Skating Union (ISU) member the QSF serves the International skating union’s rules and regulations.
